Samson Mnisi (1971 – 2022)\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n
Samson Mnisi, also known as \u2018Rainmaker\u2019, was born in Lesotho and lived in Soweto. <\/span>He studied fine art and photography at FUBA Academy and participated in many group and solo exhibitions, both locally and internationally. <\/span>Samson saw his art as a symbolic language of abstract thought and used patterns, lines, symbols, and colour to find a contemporary South African expression. He believed that through art, emotions can be evoked and even healed.
