This was a turning point in his career &#8211; he went on to be awarded residencies in New York, Switzerland, and Ethiopia, where he also exhibited his work. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Mbikayi explores the impact technology has on identity, origin, and space. He uses painting, photography, and found objects in his work. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">He has exhibited widely and was selected as one of the finalists of the Luxembourg Art Prize in 2016.
