John Murray
John Murray (1968 - ) completed his BA in Fine Arts at the University of Stellenbosch in 1996 and today, lives in Cape Town. It’s not the only home he has known as he has worked in New York and been awarded a residency in Amsterdam. Besides the artwork you’re looking at now, Murray has also created site-specific large-scale murals for Nando’s in Virginia in the USA, Nottinghill in London, and at Nando’s Central Kitchen in Johannesburg. Murray has exhibited widely and his work is included in a number of collections, including the University of Cape Town’s and lucky for us, ours.
